LOVE IT ~ LOOK AFTER IT....
It's important to look after your SŌSŪ leather products. They're made to last years, but sometimes its important to replace the leather soles and rubber heals at your local shoe repair. Ongoing Polishing and Conditioning is recommended to prolong the life of your leather product.
Applying a natural leather protector is suggested before or soon after your shoes' first uses. Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight to protect the tanning of the hides. In terms of the hides, being a natural product our leathers may stretch slightly with use and may have slight variations. Marks and variations in the leather are not considered a fault but are inherent to the natural beauty and uniqueness of the leather.
LOVE IT ~ LOOK AFTER IT ~ PASS IT ON
We believe strongly in circularity of fashion. We are guided by our values of designing Timeless pieces and hope you will enjoy your purchase for years to come with the end result keeping them out of landfill. When it comes time to clean out your closet, we encourage you to pass on your sōsū pieces to give them a second or third life.
1. Pass it On - for many years we have made childrens shoes. We are touched when they are our customer's child's first shoes. This heirloom heilo of our product we adore! However, many of our other shoes and bags can be passed on to siblings and children and ideally kept in your inner circle.
2. Resell them - there are many sites to resell clothes and shoes, from Depop to Facebook Marketplace. Have you thought of holding a local store with your friends?
3. Swap them - one great way to keep clothing out of landfill is to organise a clothes swap with friends or within your work group
4. Of course donating your clothing to one in need is a worthy cause.
